Animation Tagging

I wanted share one of the discoveries I found inside 3ds Max. I was looking for a solution for tagging certain frames inside the animation timeline and found out Max has something built in for this called time tags. It only allows you to tag with a string so I made a WPF interface for the animators. This allows them to add a tag from a predefined dropdown to reduce user error and also stores the tag information inside the database. As you can imagine this can open up many opportunities for example on my current project we use it for automated animation body type transfers. Animators can tag for certain offsets and poses to be applied on certain times to reduce cleanup when transferring animation between our eight different body types.
